Indie Hip-Hop musician Akira The Don (Adam Narkiewicz) grew up in North Wales but began his musical career as a member of underground London rap crew, Crack Village, (along with Lois Winstone). Since becoming a solo artist his music and production has traversed the boundaries between Pop, Hip-Hop, Indie and Dance. He lists an eclectic selection of influences, including Chaz&Dave, Ice Cube, Billy Bragg, Mr. Blobby, Chris De Burgh, Morrissey and the Wu Tang Clan. His debut album When We Were Young was produced by Danny Saber (U2, Black Grape), James Brown (NIN, Ash) and Emile (50 Cent). ATD is currently working on his second LP and, following live collaborations with Gruff Rhys (of Super Furry Animals) and Gonzales, he has confirmed that both artists will contribute to the new album.

MILK KAN – 10.30PM

After a busy 2009 with their debut album released earning itself as Huw Stephens ‘Album Of The Week’ and a maida vale session alongside a BBC Introducing set at T in The Park festival. Milk Kan have been working on their second album (first single Junk Shop due out this autumn) which takes them to their sampler based hip hop roots which underpinned their underground hit ‘God With An Ipod’ which charted at number 10 in the independent charts in Dec2008. Their self-curated Junk Shop gigs at the 12 Bar Club will see them playing new material from their forthcoming album playing with major cutting edge UK headliners that they have collaborated with in the past.

TELEVISION PERSONALITIES – 9.30PM

Ask anyone. Anyone with even just a slightest interest in pop music and they will all have a different take on The Television Personalities... Someone will mention that they were Kurt Cobain's favourite band. Someone else will go on about how they were the inspiration behind Creation Records and Alan McGee's biggest heroes. And a third person will call them the Original Babyshambles. From across the room someone will ask if they really did support Pink Floyd on the back of their "I Know Where Syd Barrett Lives" single. And didn't they have the cheek to call an album They Could Have Been Bigger Than The Beatles?

Fauntleroy – 8:30pm
