His singing may be tuneless, his performances shambolic and his guitar-playing rudimentary but Paul Hawkins' musings on loneliness, desperation and faking it in the medical profession are unsettling, entertaining and idiosyncratic enough to linger long in the listener’s mind.

Indeed Paul’s lyrical combination of raw introspection, bizarre fantasies and self-deprecating humour has led many to laud him as London's 927th best acoustic singer-songwriter, a claim which London’s 928th best acoustic singer-songwriter fiercely disputes.

Paul’s songs are best listened to whilst lonely and scared, ideally while surrounded by burly men who want to hurt you and beautiful creatures who, if only you could summon up the courage to talk to, would be sure to turn you down.
