The Big Fibbers Beautiful Bucket of Fun !
First Fri of every month (featuring occasional Antifolk artists). A variety show for the 21st century in the basement bar of one of Stokies fave turkish cafe. Musical turns, caberet, poets, the odd stand-up (the odder the better), lots of drunken tomfoolery, NO jugglers - the ceiling isn't high enough - and amazing sounds from The imperial Starship of Noise. The Brave New World Open Mic
Surbiton is an Antifolk hotspot for some strange reason, and this weekly Sunday open mic will often (but not always) feature an Antifolk act. 21-26 Berrylands Road, Surbiton, Greater London. Good to see a open mic that avoids the curse of Mondays.

Cabaret Voltaire
Purveyors of eclectic live music in Edinburgh, who partake in the occasional antifolk acts. 36-38 Blair Street, Edinburgh.

Calmer Music
At least monthly shows taking place in various venues in Cheltenham. Wonderfully articulate and well crafted programming. Fair share of anti-folk artists pass through, including many from the US.

Jamboree
Jamboree is an anti-folk / alternative perfromance night whcih happens the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month upstairs at the Ladybarn pub near Withington in Manchester. We will have poetry, music, sound art, exhibits of artwork by local artists, or whatever we feel like. Its free entry & each week will begin at 8pm with an open stage where anyone can get up & join in - we

Every Monday there's an antihoot open mic night at the bottom of the Spice of Life pub in London. Originally opened by New York Antifolk legend, Lach. A mixed musical bag, but it's good fun. Not many Antifolk artists play here anymore.

Fortnightly Anti-Hoot open mic night and the occasional antifolk act in Manchester. with a good mix of comedy, poetry and always good music. plus it's really cheap drinks. The anti-hoot usually goes on till way after 2am, which is when they close the bar.

Brighton's monthly Anti-folk open mic'...The T.U.R.D Monday of every month at the fringe bar, Kensington Gdns, North Lanes, Brighton. Sweeties for all, Crap Charity Shop prizes for performers and famous comment books for the audience to leave "insightful & Informative" feedback.
